Print got knocked over again, and made spaghetti. Tried calibrating the flow again, but can’t tell which is best, so I mostly guessed.

Printing a Z calibration next, to make sure I didn’t decrease it too much.

Might run out of this filament before successfully printing what I want to print, bummer.

Not as much spaghetti, looks like it worked longer. I also woke up a little before it finished, canceled it, and went back to sleep.

I lowered the temperature to 220C, just in case it’s oozing too much as well @ 230C.

And underextrusion now. I was right, you should look at the first layer on the flow calibration too, not just the top. Top looks fine, but the bottom didn’t. Threw em away, and only have a picture of the top, so another guess it will be. Now to decrease or increase it, or keep it at the default. Might have to dig em out of the garbage. To look at other side. Nah, don’t want to get hands dirty.

Increasing it this time, not by much though from the default value.

Hmm, increased, and same spot has gaps. Just cleaned bed, and checking Z offset. And will decrease the flow rate probably. Should have done flow rate test with the right offset.

Hmm, did I never print a Z calibration? Cause now it’s -2.40, or their was junk on nozzle. Was -2.17 or something before. Might be a bad mesh. Do Bed Visualizer in OctoPrint now. Still forgot to change bed temp for Bed Visualizer, still set to 85C, but print wood PLA @ 70C. And tramming was fine, even with an offset set. That’s a lot of red. But the center area is mostly green, and there’s a 0. Might be too close now, at least on one side. Not surprising. More flow or change offset? I say offset. After I see how middle prints. And it’s probably too close, some wood is piling up on it. Canceled it, no need to waste filament on the entire print.

Think I’ll lower bed temp too. Oops, forgot to change Bed Visualizer to 65C, changed to 70C, I’ll just print first layer @ 70C, not that it matters. Might have changed Z offset too much, no 0s now. Must have one zero.

Got a zero finally. -2.37, not a bunch of red anymore either. No heated nozzle though, so might not work. Eh, resetting flow rate now. If that doesn’t fix it, then it’s too damn picky. Cause it’s not printing much on one side.

And not the flow.

Trying -2.30 now, well Bed Visualizer first.

LOL, my build plate is so good and hot, it’ll stick with a bad offset.

No zeros btw, so guess it just needs to have a lot of green.

Perhaps aim for lots green, and low max number, instead of one zero. Should be able to adjust flow rate now, the perfectionist one takes over 3 hours to print, I slowed the printing down, just in case. Might be a tad too close, but adjusting the flow rate should fix that.

Hmm, could probably go back to 215C for the nozzle.

Z calibration

Decreasing the flow rate might make it perfect, but I’m going to bed soon. It can print while I sleep.
