Look at the bottom layer on this temperature tower. Shitty picture, thanks phone. But you can see gaps, and possible holes.

Now I need to run Bed Visualizer to see if it changed. I cleaned the bed just now, that could be the problem as well. But it can be -0.04mm closer.

If it didn’t change, I’ll try printing a Z calibration. Or maybe I’ll change offset back to -1.84, instead of what it is -1.80. Or filament needs drying, there’s some stringing on that tower too, all temps.

And it changed, there’s a 1 now, where a 0 was before. I could tram it again, but I’m lazy. Guess I will anyways. Just got to set offset to 0 first.

Ahh crap on nozzle, that’ll do it too. Trammed bed anyways. And changed offset back to -1.84, seemed a little far @ old offset. Damn junk on bed, so have to run Bed Visualizer again.

Damn, too far. Or flow rate is wrong. Going to tram it again, preferably after nozzle is done leaking.

And the offset might be -1.94 now. After tramming it, and checking it once, was leaking still, but might have been touching bed too long, so started leaking.

Maybe those washers did do something. Will it make the bed more flat in Bed Visualizer?

Hmm, might not be the right offset, lowest number is 1 in Bed Visualizer now. I’ll try printing anyways, the max is 0.11, and the var is 0.18.

So close it ain’t printing, nice. Or the extruder is clogged again.

Extruder might be fine, and not too close. Probably clogged or slightly clogged. Problem with setting Z offset when it’s still leaking.

And it was extruder again. I made the spring way looser this time, when putting it back together, if that doesn’t stop the clogs, I need a different extruder for PETG. Or I need a part that is plastic instead of metal. And made Z offset 0.02mm closer, trying to get one zero.

I have one question, why did I leave bed and nozzle heated when I took apart extruder? Seems like a bad idea. Took so long, it shut em off anyways.

And Z offset appears to be -1.88 now. At least it has some zeros in Bed Visualizer. Probably should have trammed bed again, but I’m lazy.

And the flow rate might be wrong now. Either that, or offset isn’t good enough. But probably the flow rate, as it looks good mostly everywhere, except for the middle of the Z calibration. Must have been too close before. No idea why the washers matter today, but not yesterday. The fun part is waiting for the damn printer bed to cool down, as I said, some lines are fine, so might be the flow rate.

Going to let the tramming wizard run again, just to make sure. Needed a slight adjustment.

Looking good so far.

Hmm did I not tram the bed last time I used it or something? Just assumed it was the same perhaps. Not close enough, damn. 0.04mm closer next print, hopefully that fixes it. Cause I need to sleep. Wanted to print flow calibration while sleeping. Can’t tell with webcam how good it is or not.

Might as well try 0.06mm closer, the original Z offset I found when it wasn’t printing, because of the clog in extruder. First Bed Visualizer. Might just go to bed though. While it’s printing Z calibration.

Excellent

Good enough for me, think -1.94 is what it was with other filament, so I guess the extruder spring was too tight, not sure the washer really did anything. Cause I was printing other filament without the washer too. PETG is a pain, the extruder can’t be too tight.
