LOL, guess I didn’t need to order those screws and washers set.

I’m printing @ 0.2mm for every layer, and from the webcam, looks fine. If not perfect. Should print a Z calibration, to see if there’s any gaps. Got to print chip clip first, the first one cracked. Possibly because the first layer was 0.3mm, or for using gyroid.

Might still be usable, but annoying it cracked. Maybe the infill is too high. Or the fan speed is too high.

That’s an easy way to fix Z offset, put a silicone sock on it, that doesn’t exactly fit. I guess it makes getting the perfect Z offset easier. Might be impossible without it.

Or the offset wasn’t the problem, and the sock is doing it’s job.

Hmm, maybe it is too close on one side, I got off my ass finally and looked at it. Can’t tell with webcam. Well, 0.3mm is perfect.

Not the layer height. Read it might be the nozzle temp, so increased to 245C from 235C. Don’t feel like printing a temp tower. Might be fan speed too.

Still cracked @ 245C, and more was leaking out after print of the nozzle. Might have even cracked worse at the higher temperature. Or faster.

Set minimum fan speed to 15%, and changed it back to 235C. The default minimum fan speed is 40%, might be too high.

I wonder how low I can go on the nozzle temperature, since it’s leaking afterwards.

And the infill might be the problem, somebody said to somebody else to avoid 100% infill with PETG. It can be made stronger by adjusting different settings. So 20% infill is probably fine, and the default for most other settings.

Hmm, still cracks. Maybe filament needs to be dried.

And the remix fixed the problem, except the top has some holes in it for some reason. Probably forgot to change to gyroid as well. Maybe that’s what 100% infill with PETG does, holes.
