I mean printing, well almost, just have to tram bed again, and get Z offset.

I replaced the mainboard, and the hotend heater for the nozzle. I broke the cable for the heater when trying to crimp it.

And if you use Tailscale, OctoPrint will say you are connecting to it over the internet. Perhaps, but over a VPN. Not sure it can do a direct connection, since the networks are isolated. Except, I think the camera is somehow doing that. Cause I’m not using a shitload of upload data.

Might take a while to tram it, probe out of bounds, haven’t seen that before. Guess I’ll mess with screws on it, since I probably messed them up.

Damn if only I remembered the settings I had before it killed itself.

I’m going to get the probe offsets from Unified Firmware, as that firmware works without changing any settings, just go to look at source code.

I just followed their instructions, well not for the Z probe, for Z probe I used -39 for y and 0 for x.

And you might want to read it all, as you have to go to Mesh inset, probably changed too much. Won’t be able to print as big as before. Oh well. Yes, I’m too lazy to follow all the instructions. Just wanted the tramming to work right.

Now to try printing a Z offset calibration. Set to the same Z offset as before, before tramming, so maybe it trammed to that offset, or not, who knows. Looked close enough, or a little too close. Now if only Cura was faster. Had to restart Cura. Had to change OctoPrint IP. There she blows.

It’s the same mainboard, 4.2.7, and where the power plugs into the board, it came not straight, turned a little. Did they just sell me a returned board or something? Sold by Sovol on Amazon, only used ones available now. And if you try turning it on without flashing firmware, it does the same thing, but then it actually flashed the firmware. So the old board fried something.

E3D Ceramic Heater Cartridge 24v 40w that’s the heater. The ends are already good, no need to crimp it. Way better then crimping myself.

I wonder if the mainboard fan is even running, hope so, or it’ll fry too.

Seems like a better heater so far. The other one came with the Spider 1.0 thing. Can’t use that because the heat block is busted from a stuck nozzle. You can’t buy replacement parts. And if you buy the whole thing, it costs more now. Waste of money that was. Have extra nozzles for it, that I can’t use. This heater might heat up faster somehow.

Printing fine so far. Heater might be too powerful, not staying at 245C, going to 246C or so. Hmm, did I put the wattage in? Might be at 30w, and that clearly says 40w. Oops. Bad tuning possibly. If 10w makes a difference.

I also got two Bondtech Motor Gears, so I got free shipping. I like that site now. I’ve know about it, but never bought anything from them. Looks the same as the gear TH3D Extruder came with.

Well, at least the nozzle heater isn’t made by Craptility now. I wonder if I crimped the bed heater wires correctly.. Or if I’ll fry this board too.

Soon Hung Lucy can bang some chicks. After shes’s done printing. That’s what I’ll be dreaming about anyways. Maybe I’ll be a Hung Lucy in my dream again. Banging a cis woman. All night long. Not sure reptile dysfunction affects me while sleeping. Just while awake. Easier to let the jizz come out by itself when pushing shit out or trying to push shit out.

Looks like the old offset was too close. Well, the second or is it third print? It’s too far in some spots. So I changed it too much, moving it 0.02mm closer should do the trick. If not, it was right @ 0.04mm closer. And I probably need to adjust temperature.
