I don’t know where I got that, just have the STL file.
I was able to edit it with Tinkercad, after looking up how to separate an object, their instructions didn’t exactly work, or I didn’t follow correctly. That’s probably the easiest method. Easy to select the part you want with a box.
No idea if I did it right, and my phone will fit in the spot now. Or if my phone will charge with it in it now. It was fine with old case.
I’d provide the file, but no idea who made it, or anything, can’t find it on the two sites I use.
Still trying to get a ball to print right, apparently more shell thickness can make PETG brittle. Printing a fan tower now, to get the fan speed right before trying again. I had at least one wall with some settings, that would bend but not break easily, I think that’s how PETG is supposed to be. Strong but able to bend some. That’s why it works good for chip clips.
Shapr3D would be good for making new stuff though, incredibly easy. You basically draw, and extrude it or whatever it’s called. Even make a shape to cut out into another shape. That would be worth money, if I needed it to make money.
More fan speed might result in less brittle for me. At least the fan tower, looked better at higher fan speeds, maybe not 100%, but 80% might be good enough. 5% more then they recommend for the max. The lowest fan speed, probably 0, and the bridge didn’t even work.
If you search for the best budget PETG, you won’t find VOXELPETG+ from voxelpla.com, only shit on Amazon. So I ordered it, I’d rather pay shipping then buy from Amazon. Without shipping, it’s cheaper then most of the shit they recommend as well. COEX PETG is pricy, so I’d rather find a cheaper filament that works as good or better. Need the carbon and HEPA filter crap for my Bento Box anyways. Eventually I’ll need to replace those two things.
And I should have given up on this cat ball toy model, there’s a bug fix version, that might fix my issue. It’s a remix of the original one. Not done printing, but I doubt it’ll be fine.
Might just print the Qi Charger Stand next, then print the bug fix ball tomorrow. Since bigger models seem to print fine for some reason.
Big failure, threw it, and not just one piece broke off, at least three. Maybe they aren’t for throwing, cause they break if you do that. But if she swats it, and it hits something, probably will break too. So useless.
