To prevent damage to printer, I bought a Ferrule Kit, the ASIN is B07WRQN45C. And to help prevent fires.
Apparently the tinned wires can get loose, or a bad connection, and cause issues.
Might wait until next week to do it, got to remove the beast from enclosure. Didn’t want to order from TH3D, no free shipping, and their magnetic base is as weak as my printer. They claim it’s stronger then most printers, well not mine. Probably won’t print much until next week anyways. There’s a photo that shows you how to do it. Doesn’t look too hard. The hardest part is stripping the wire the right length.
I should have done that, when I replaced the damn board. No wonder they glued all the connections into the board. I’ll probably only do the heaters though. Those are the wires using a lot of power. The ones likely to have issues.
Oh and I might do my air filter thing in the enclosure. Easier to plug in if I do that. Will it fit in the screw terminal though?
I can use for other things too. Anything that needs a custom cable, and I don’t want to solder. Whatever it’s plugging into, will need the right connection for it though.
Well, I’ll do one fan first, to see if those even fit in screw terminals, if they don’t, don’t ask me how to plug it in. I refuse to solder.
I should just use hot glue like it came. The lazy way.
