Depending on how your firmware is configured, it might not be turning bed leveling on.
Just use M420 S1 in the Gcode. I put it before the tilting.
I’ll test that soon.
So maybe Unified Firmware 2 is fine, if you use leveling, assuming it was off. Using Marlin now, it’s probably better anyways.
And the offset was wrong, must have forgot to save it last night. Or early this morning. Not sure if it should be -2.10 or -2.00. Bed Visualizer was ran @ -2.10, but that might be too close.
But it might be working now, because before I’m not sure that offset would have been wrong. With leveling off, it might have done slightly better, except eventually blobs. No fading or leveling. The skirt wasn’t good enough, that’s how I know the offset was wrong. Without leveling, it is good in some spots, but bad in other spots.
Looks like it might be -2.12 now. Maybe it does need 0 to be 0 now. I used the tune menu, was getting gaps.
Might be -2.15. Got to print again, there were gaps, so had to change it in the tune menu. But less blobs. Came off nice and easy too. Perhaps I should try printing the pressure advance after this has no gaps.
I’d add that even if you configured Marlin right, just in case.
There’s actually a 0 in front of that, so it was probably -02.015, now it’s -02.020 or something like that. Was still getting gaps, canceled it after I got rid of gaps in brim. Don’t want to print it all day long.
Surprised it could print as good as it did with leveling off though.
Almost perfect, but still some gaps. And increasing it may have made blobs. Need to reprint at the closer offset to see for sure. Or increase the bed temp a little. Can only go up 2C.
Blobs might mostly be on brim now. How do you fix that? Not sure it matters. You might need to change a slicer setting. And blobs in the middle too. Guess the offset was right, gap for some other reason.
Perhaps AutoBim will help that gap.
Var is 0.11 now, the best I’ve gotten it. Noticed the magnetic base still isn’t on perfect, oh well. Z offset probably not close enough. I’ll adjust with the tune menu.
Looks like AutoBim might have fixed it. Didn’t change offset, I think to actually check it, you have to use the Z offset wizard, not sure moving Z to 0 will actually go to 0. Or feeler gauges are too accurate, and needs to be slightly farther away.
